I'VE MADE 3 TRADES THUS FAR. I KNOW MY TE SITUATION IS A MESS!
ANY THOUGHTS OR TRADE SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREAT, THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO CHECK OUT MY TEAM.

  • vikingfan your TE situation is not a mess as long as Reed stays healthy, as he will catch Balls from Alex Smith...and he knows how to get the best out of his TE (T. Kelce). I still would give up Evans first as Diggs and D. Thomas improved regarding the QB they catch balls from and Fuller had 7 TDs in 4 games of Watson as starting QB....while Evans' QB Winston is suspended to start the season... as vikingfan, check for Rudolph, as he should provide a safe floor as TE. other than that you're set!

  • on the other hand your first 3 RBs and #4 with Miller are strong enough to give up either on Mack or Anderson as well.... so check the needs of the team with the TE you want to improve your TE situation with and offer him/her what s/he needs more RB or WR (I'd still check the waiver wire for L. Murray... CJ Anderson is as much RB 2 behind McCaffrey as Murray behind Cook...but Cook after his injury could have setbacks... and remember how Murray played the end of 2017...and he'll get RZ touches)

    12:27pm Jul 11 from tomfromgermany
  • you find someone agreeing to this trade and I find noone, who wants to play in my league, once I posted the team I'd keep.... even though the teams got great likes as long as noone knew, who they will face.... too bad...

    12:35pm Jul 11 from tomfromgermany
  • I'd go after the Browns TE they drafted in the first round last year as a backup I believe with a likely rookie QB or Taylor he'll have a good year. Fuller will be a beast as long as he stays healthy and Watson does. Not big on Mike Evans as long as Winston is his QB or not his QB despite his good years, he lacks consistency because of it.

  • tomfromgermany - But no Reed is constantly and consistently injured.

  • vikingfan301 I would suggest packaging Freeman and Reed for a TE like Graham, Walker, Engram. Someone like that. Then, go to waivers and get a backup TE or maybe more RB depth, depending who you get

    3:56pm Jul 11 from billyg15
  • Upon further review... I think you could get more from Freeman and Reed. But, people forget Freeman and Coleman are in a timeshare. That is why I avoid him because he generally goes in rounds 2,3,4. But if you do go get a TE with this package look for an RB or TE, as I said before. I would suggest OJ Howard if he is there. I think Fitz would love to throw to a TE like that

  • Thanks for your thoughts everyone

    4:03pm Jul 11 from vikingfan301
  • Not bad. RB depth could use some work. Reed is a huge gamble. He has the potential of being a top 5 TE or a bust due to his injury history. Also, Washington has a great amount of playmakers, so I highly doubt Reed will be productive this year. Try trading for a TE without selling the farm and if you have no success in acquiring a better TE, then your best bet would be to keep Reed and ride the wire week by week. Good luck this season.

  • biilyg, don't forget Cameron Brate still battles Howard for starting TE.... and right now, it would be miracle ball reading, who will make TE 1.... I like the Njoku idea as well...with defenses respecting Gordon and Landry, he could get several reads from Taylor...unless Taylor does not decide to make a play by himself running instead... but I definitely would add a 2nd TE..as Reed if healthy has a high ceiling

    1:35am Jul 12 from tomfromgermany
  • tom I think Njoku would be a fine add, but I was disagreeing when you said his TE situation is not a mess. I think theres a fix to it, but it is definitely not a good situation

    10:47am Jul 12 from billyg15
  • billyg...as English is not my 1st language, I might not have put it the way I wanted.... I didn't say, it was no mess... I wanted to say in the case, that Reed stays healthy and can play every week, then having him would not be a mess... but I still offered advise to get a 2nd TE as WR and RB are deep enough to give up on one...

    11:04am Jul 12 from tomfromgermany
  • another sleeper TE if still available could be Kittle

    11:58am Jul 12 from tomfromgermany
  • Your team is stacked as always lol. I'd package Demaryius and Reed and get an elite TE. Maybe target Ertz or with your luck Kelce lol. I'd also drop Marlon Mack for a backup QB because of Rodgers's health problems. Maybe Dak is he's a free agent.

  • I know normally it would be Matt Ryan easily but fitz has no problem throwing 400 yards and against an easy giants defense I think he’s going to throw for 4 TD’s. Matt Ryan is just the safe option. I don’t think falcons vs cowboys are gonna be as high scoring as the bucs vs Giants.

  • My opinion is idk how many carries cook will get with Murray playing well, besides on 3rd down. Ingram will get carries , and has the most of it...hes also known for being a redzone hog ...getting those carries with in the five. Hes shown to catch better this year also...lewis is a dual threat so thats a no brainer.
